Housekeeping
Every paw welcome
A good scratch corner works for every dog in the house — the spry ones, the seniors, the three-legged philosophers. We build the website by the same rule: every visitor, whatever tools they browse with, should be able to read it, steer it and buy from it.
What that means in practice: real text instead of pictures of text everywhere the brand allows, headings in an order screen readers can walk, alt descriptions on product and training images, focus outlines that survive our styling, color contrast checked against WCAG 2.1 AA, and layouts that hold together at phone width and 200% zoom alike. The whole site works from a keyboard — the menu, the nail picker, the photo galleries, all of it.
The one caveat: the moment you fetch a product, you’re on Amazon’s pages, and their accessibility work is theirs. They publish their own statement and dedicated support lines for assistive-tech shoppers.
Caught a page our standards missed — a trap for the keyboard, an image with a useless description, text that fights your zoom? Scratch at corner@zenlypaws.net and it goes to the top of the fix pile. That’s not a platitude; accessibility reports are the fastest-answered mail in the den.
